EDIT..Pecait contacted me and offered a replacement. I did accept it and the new unit is working as it should be. I am happy to revert my rating as Pecait customer service followed up with my issue and always communicating with me while I was waiting for the replacement.

This tool solves these problems by combining a brush into the dryer so each stroke of the brush separates and also dries the hair using one hand. It has multiple heat settings to ensure that the air is not too hot when being used for repeated combing and continuous drying.
I have not used the misting function and probably will not, but the drying and combing action is more than enough to earn this 5 stars from me.
The brush works well with soft tipped bristles that are comfortable for pets. It does a good job picking up loose hair, and it has a push out base that easily removes the hair from the bristles
The hair dryer function has a few settings that vary the heat level and fan speed. It's easy to adjust by turning a dial on the dryer with LED lights to indicate which setting it is on. Even on high heat it doesn't get as hot as a normal hair dryer, so it is pretty low level heat so you don't have to worry about burning your pet during use. The fan isn't very strong, but it works well to gradually dry wet hair. it's not too noisy, but it could be an issue for pets that get scared by loud noises. It can be used with the hair brush, or there are two attachment heads for smaller areas
The water spray comes out in a very fine mist. It does have to be ionized water. The mist works well to lightly moisten the hair to make it easier to detangle and smooth out matted hair. It uses a separate power source that can be charged through an included USB C cable, so it's use is optional
Also included is a silicone wet or dry brush for cleaning. It does have to be plugged in to use, but the power cord is moderately long. It could be a bit longer, but it's long enough to get it done without too much hassle
Overall, this is an excellent grooming tool that does several things to help clean, dry, and remove pet hair
I have to bribe my cat with a treat to get her to let me comb or brush her. She just hates every one of the brushes or combs I have tried and will only tolerate being brushed a very short time. I thought maybe she would like this 244-rubber tipped massage brush. Massages are good so she should like that right? I very gently brushed her and saw the brush fill up with her hair. I love the one button feature that drops the needle head brush down, so the cat hair comes right off. I didn't have to stop to remove the head, empty it and then put the head back on while in the meantime my cat would disappear. This was so much easier, faster and cleaner because the hair came off the brush in a clump and didn't fly all over. I was able to get her brushed before she had her usual fit. No she doesn't like this brush any better than the others, but I do. This brush is easier to clean, no more poked fingers from the needles. I recommend this brush.
My cat loved it! I loved using it. Fur didnt really come off as they show - needed a bit of manual removal but I was ok as the steam feature was great to have.
And now the steam stoped working - it’s been just over a month. Without steam I’d just get a small round unbreakable one for the third of the price.
But this brush allows you to add little bursts of water to your regimen, which will help both to get your little beast a little bit cleaner and to remove more of the fur that needs to be brushed out.
It charges, which surprised me.
Everything you need is included, including a tiny bottle for filling the water tank in the brush.

My cat was a bit fearful at first, this being a white object, but once I started brushing she calmed down.
I've not used the steam function, not until she is used the brush a little more.
Cat owners will understand how funny cats can be.
I really like that with a press of a button you can clean the hairs out of it.
The device can be charged from a regular USB port, comes with a usb 2.0 cable to type-c to charge the battery embedded inside (not-replacable) charging at 5V 0.25A with the standard of DCP1.5A, so any older style phone charger will also charge this incase the cable is not long enough, as its quite short.
The dropper bottle included is extermely handy to fill it and the manual makes it a breeze to get it up and running in matter of seconds!
Would recommend for cats with thicker coats.
And the push cleaner button thing? SERIOUSLY works!! Especially because it’s already wet? One push and wipe with a napkin or paper towel and ALL the hair is gone. Fan-freaking-tasfic 🤩
All I have to do is pull this brush out and my cat starts meowing and jumps into her chair, rolling over on all sides as I brush her. She seriously loves it!
Where we live we have red clay dirt, and she sometimes likes to rub her cheeks into it (for some annoying reason 😆) and usually only a bath will get that rusty orange out of her WHITE fur but with this brush it came out!! It didn’t even look like she had done it! 😯
Plus, she’s indoor/outdoor so she gets monthly baths (especially during rainy seasons) but with this brush I can totally skip a month and probably the entire winter 🤩
Now I don’t know how well it will do in the spring when she sheds her winter coat…I will probably still use her deshedding comb too, but might mist her down with this first and then again after. We shall see.

It's super easy to use: brush your cat in long strokes across their body. The hairs stick together so they don't fly all over the place when you're done brushing them.
You'll be amazed at how much less fur there is around your house after using this brush—it really does work wonders!
The brush itself pulls a lot of hair off his pelt. It surprised me how much hair actually came off of my boy!
It also is very easy to take the hair off of the strikes. It has a lever mechanism that pushes the hair off of the brushes with ease.
The spray water option is nice too. That helps with the removal of hair and makes the entire grooming process easier too.
Would recommend for pet owners!
The only concern is that I'm worried about molding, since there doesn't seem to be a very good way to drain out all the excess water.
